Most couples prefer 2-berth layouts with fixed beds and end washrooms. The island bed layout offers hotel-like access from both sides, while French bed layouts provide an excellent balance of bedroom and living space.
Stick with 2-berth unless you regularly host guests. 4-berth caravans are heavier, longer, and harder to tow, extra berths you don't use add weight and cost without benefit.
