Adria Action 391 PT: key facts and layout
The Adria Action 391 PT is a compact caravan with two to four berths, a front lounge, rear bunks and a rear garage layout. It measures 5.95 metres long, 2.2 metres wide and 2.55 metres high, with an MTPLM of 1300 kilograms and a stated payload of 210 kilograms. Its compact aerodynamic form, panoramic front window and rear garage access are central to its appeal, while the available interior space and payload need careful consideration when all four berths are used.
- The layout combines a front lounge with rear bunks and garage access, supporting flexible use for couples or a family.
- The rear garage door provides direct access to storage beneath the bunks for bikes, outdoor equipment or bulky luggage.
- The kitchen includes an integrated sink and three-burner gas hob, while the bathroom has a fold-away sink and shower.
- Truma Combi heating and hot water, an AL-KO chassis and AKS stabiliser are listed features.
- The recorded price range is £16500 to £26995, with no current marketplace listings recorded.
Worth knowing: Specifications can vary by model year, trim and optional equipment. Confirm the exact equipment, condition and price of an individual caravan before purchase.
Who should consider the Adria Action 391 PT?
Who it suits
- Couples wanting a compact tourer with a front lounge and a distinctive aerodynamic profile.
- Buyers needing four berths and useful rear access for bikes, outdoor equipment or bulky luggage.
- Drivers whose tow vehicle is suitable for a caravan with an MTPLM of 1300 kilograms, subject to checking the complete towing match.
Reasons to consider it
- Its 5.95-metre length and aerodynamic shape support the compact-tourer brief and are listed as strengths for towing stability.
- The rear garage access is more practical than relying solely on internal loading for larger gear.
- The front panoramic window and vertical use of space help the interior feel more open than its external dimensions suggest.
- The four-berth arrangement adds flexibility beyond a couples-only layout.
- The listed payload of 210 kilograms provides a defined basis for checking how passengers' equipment and optional items affect loading.
What to check
- Check the tow vehicle against the Action 391 PT's 1300-kilogram MTPLM and the caravan's actual loaded weight.
- Inspect the available payload of 210 kilograms against the intended load, including gear stored beneath the rear bunks.
- Assess the interior floor area with all four berths in use, as this is a recorded compromise of the layout.
- Check whether the limited kitchen worktop meets your cooking needs.
- Confirm the exact specification of the heating, hot-water, kitchen, bathroom and audio equipment, as equipment can vary.
- Measure storage and access requirements against the 5.95-metre length, 2.2-metre width and 2.55-metre height before committing to a pitch or storage arrangement.
Worth knowing: The stated price range is a guide rather than a valuation for a particular caravan. No current marketplace listings are recorded, so availability should be checked separately. The distinctive styling may not suit buyers seeking a conventional caravan appearance.
Compare the Adria Action 391 PT with similar models
| Model | Berths | MTPLM | Length | Typical price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Adria Action 391 PT | 4 | 1300 kg | 5.95 m | £16,500 to £26,995 |
| Lunar Stellar | 4 | 1300 kg | 5.76 m | £6,500 to £19,500 |
| Swift Freestyle | 4 | 1350 kg | 6.45 m | £12,500 to £28,500 |
The Adria Action 391 PT sits between compactness and family flexibility, combining a 5.95-metre body, four-berth potential and rear garage access with a 1300-kilogram MTPLM. The Lunar Stellar is shorter, while the Swift Freestyle and Xplore Xc Lite are longer. The Bailey Discovery D4-4L has the same recorded length but a lower MTPLM or GVW, and the Adria Action is shorter again. These differences affect towing, space and loading priorities, so the most suitable choice depends on the tow vehicle, intended berth use, payload and storage needs.
Worth knowing: Specifications and prices can vary by model year, trim and optional equipment.
Adria Action 391 PT ownership checks
- Keep a clear loading record because the caravan has two to four berths and a stated payload of 210 kilograms.
- Use the rear garage access for suitable bulky gear, but check that loading remains within the caravan's MTPLM of 1300 kilograms.
- Account for the caravan's 5.95-metre length, 2.2-metre width and 2.55-metre height when planning access, storage and pitch positioning.
- For family use, plan the conversion between the front lounge and sleeping arrangements because usable floor space can feel tight with all four berths occupied.
- Check the front lounge, rear bunks and under-bunk garage area as separate zones when organising equipment.
- Confirm the operation and included specification of the Truma Combi system, fold-away bathroom sink, shower and kitchen equipment on the individual caravan.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the 210-kilogram payload as spare capacity without accounting for equipment and optional items.
- Assuming compact external dimensions remove the need to check tow-vehicle compatibility and loaded weight.
Worth knowing: The supplied data does not establish a model year or age range, so condition and service history must be checked for each example. Exact equipment can vary by model year, trim and optional equipment.
